Help Needed.

My sons computer wont boot , when you press the power button all the fans pulse twice then nothing.

Checked all connections, disconnected all power cables and rerouted them and tried a single stick of ram individually.

Got a Feeling its the PSU . Thoughts ?

Sounds a lot like a PSU problem. Can you hook your own up, see if that fixes the problem?

PSU or motherboard; likely the PSU though. Have you tested it?

Done the test and all the fans run on the case and psu, so does that point to the cpu or motherboard ?

cmos battery or front panel wiring perhaps?

Does the CPU fan run? Some motherboards shutdown if a rotating CPU fan is not detected which can usually be disabled in the BIOS.

Are there any audible beeps on startup?
