Help! Network issues

Hi all,

HELP!
I'm having problems with the network i've just set up.

Active directory is all set up
But when I add a workstation to the network by joining the domain, it comes up with

"The following error occured attempting to join the domain "smhh"";
An attempt to resolve the DNS name of a domain controller in the domain being joined has failed. Please verify this client is configured to reach a DNS server that can resolve DNS name in the target domain"

Please help!
Or even better - if someone has a spare half hour and they fancy logging in via LogMeIn, you'd be a life safer! I'll pay!!!!

If the workstation is running Vista have a look at http://www.computerperformance.co.uk/vista/vista_join_domain.htm.

Windows 7 i'm afraid

Which is very similar to vista.

In the change computer name section where you join the domain go to More, for the primary DNS suffix put the domain you are trying to join.

and that worked! Silly me for forgetting the DNS bits, renewed the adapter and all working.
