hi, dynamic is cuming up cos it was only format option on XP.

I connected on different ports, they have 120GB and 250Gb maxtors connected so the ports are fine. I think its a HDD problem, i emailed seagate let see what they say.

some one on the forums must have nforce 4 with seagate barrucada 7200.10.

please come fordward lol

Hi guys still no joy but i checked my IDE settings and its got LBA,Large,Auto and sumthing else but these options are not selectable on SATA, i only get auto and large on SATA.

any one shine some light on this

hmm i think i found out what the problem is, the harddrive LBA is set to normal and not 48bit, i used the dos seatool to check, i tried to set manual and max address but get a error, something about power cycle.

any one know a quick easy way to set LBA address on hdds please?
