help!! New build Failure

Hi

Im new to oc uk and system build's

I was wodering if any 1 could help, i've built a new system and i keep getting BSOD "IRGL_not_less_or_equal, bad_system_config_info and one more but cant remember it :confused:

"

The components i've brought:

Q6600
Biostar tpower I45
Cosair dominator 1066 2gb

Basically the blue screens are random, they happen from loading xp to installing media player. I ve tried all the lastest drivers and older ones but still no luck.

any help would be very much appriecated!!

thought it might be the memory, when i installed everything i left it all at stock. havnt touched the bios. currently the memory is running at 800mhz at 1.8v. the memory is rated at 1066 at 2.1v. will upping the volts correct this problem??????

Try upping the volts like you mentioned and set the timmings and speed.
See how you get on, If not try running mem-test.

Could do, CPU-Z Should show you its SPD profile settings which should indicate what voltage to use at each frequency. Checked the timings are all correct?

ty you all for ya help.

I've up the voltage to 2.1 and it seems to of stabilized my system, no more BSOD!!!!!

But.....

i can not get ram to run at 1066, every time i try it fails to boot???
Is it safe to run the memory at 2.1v at 800mhz??

quick update.....

manage to run 3dmark05 and 06, no problems
also prime 95 for last 25min and the highest the temp has reached is 41'
