Help! New RAM keeps making my PC Crash..

I bought some Kingston HyperX 4GB (2x2GB) DDR2 8500C5 1066MHz Dual Channel from OCUK. I set the timings at 5-5-5-15 and the voltage at 2.2

The system refuses to even boot. It just beeps.

I get a C1 error on the motherboard and the system resets.

I'm using a eVGA 780i board.

The memory seems to be OK if I boot it with not adjusting voltages or timings though.

So what's going on? :S

That ram is now giving me problems to even get into Windows now. Anyone able to help?

I've ordered new memory now. Patriot Viper for about the same price.

I think those sticks were dud.

The new Patriot Viper works a treat. No problems at all. The speed is only 5.5 on W7. Is this normal?
