Need some urgent help to sort the GF's car out (MGF).

This morning for some reason the car lost all its electrics, I have taken the battery out, connected it to a charger and its showing full charge so it's not that.

There are no electrics at all, no alarm, not even any sparks when the battery terminals are connected.

Thoughts anyone ?

It entirely depends on the car, but in my Leon (for example) there is a junction box on top of the battery which has three large flat non-encased fuses, completely independent from the fuse box, and don't particularly look like fuses in the typical sense.

Thanks, i'll dig out the manual methinks. :)

This happened to me on a very cold morning a month or so back. Tried to start car and all electrics died. Came to it next day and all was still dead. Checked all the fuses in the engine bay by just pulling them out and putting them back in and hey presto - everything was back to normal!

EDIT: Oh and I have a Toledo, which has the same fuse layout as the guy with the Leon who previously posted. It was those fuses on top of battery that I checked.
