help on ds4 please!

just built ds4 with geil 667mhz memory everything runs fine but cpu-z reports 6x multiplier when i change this to 9 and save in bios next reboot it is back to 6?
Also is it possible to change latency timings in the bios and if so how do you get to it by the way i am on bios F6

Welcome to the forums.

Not sure on the multiplier prob, but to get the memory timings page, you need to press CTRL+F1 on the main BIOS page, then you go into the M.I.T and they should have appeared.

thanks for that think i found problem cpu overheating due to heatsink not on properly! thats the problem with us first time builders!

Enter the bios.
Press Control&F1 to enable the hidden memory settings.
Enter the M.I.T. page and adjust the memory timings to your liking.

it was the heatsink now it is on properly everthing works fine at 9x multiplier! it was getting too hot and safety mech was knocking back cpu voltage and multiplier!
