help on overclocking

hi everyone i just bought this system 20days ago and finally after all the hassles i hav got it set up and ready for overclocking..

the system is

crd 1.80ghz ( stock cooling )
2gb gskill 800mhz
asus p5k motherboard
nvidia geforce 8800 gts 320mb
550w ocuk huntkey power supply
nzxt apollo gaming case

i am new to this overclocking and hence need a lot of advice i have a stock cooler on the cpu and 3 fans in my case two for intaking air and one to take out the air. if anyone has a asus p5k board then plz help me out with overclocking and also the right optimisom i need.

hi i tried this rivatuner and did what you said. but when i say enable drive level overclocking it tells me to reboot detect or cancel
when i detect it says itscore clock 770mhz and memory clock 1160mhz
it wont let me go more than that.
 
hi mansize tissue i did what you told me and seems to be working my max multiplier is 9 and my systems is seeming fine.
details now

core speed 2070,8mhz
bus speed 230mhz
rated fsb 920mhz

voltage 1.272v ( i set it at 1.3 instead of 1.4 )

memory

frequwncy is 286mhz ( b4 when i used this *** thing it was 368 )
fss;dram 4:5
cas latency 5
ras to cas 5

ras precharge 5

cycle time 18

can i do any better than this.

my temps according to the bios says

46 degrees b4 it was 34 degrees
what is the max temperature i can run a cpu
