Help on upgrade

Hey hey,

I curently have an ati 2900 that does ok, but I was thinking about upgrading so I could run dx10 games at max settings with some decent framerates. I only use small monitors for gaming so I don't need huge resolution settings but I do run a hdmi output to my tv (which the current 2900 doesn't have sound for... ).

Current setup is:

q9300
asus p5q3 deluxe
artic cooler pro
4gb 1333mhz ddr3
520W power supply

So basically, should I get:

1) 4870x2 (which also means a new power supply)
2) GTX 280 (again new power supply)
3) 4870 Toxic (no new power supply and I could get a blu ray drive + maybe new monitor)

Any other thoughts advice would be appreciated (max budget is £500) and I mainly play HL2 based games, Farcry 2 and CoH.

considered waiting for the revised gtx280 if its not already out?

or

looking at the gtx260 216 core as well?

considering performance and price id get a 4870; but id go for the HIS 4870 at £193.
