Help on washer/dryers.

Hey guys

My washer has died as the drum has kinda exploded inside. God knows what actually happened?

Anyway currently we have a dryer which sits in our back lounge. I fancy getting rid of that and getting a washer/dryer in one? Are they good?

Now my dryer has a pipe which I hang out of the window to get rid of moisture. Do I need to do the same with a washer/dryer in one? Having never used/owned one I aint too sure. Problem is my kitchen doesnt have a hole and as its a rented house not sure if I should make a big hole behind the washer space in the kitchem.

Any recommendations?

I think the washer dryer combos vent via the waste pipe.

Depends really though I don't know of one to recommend. I knew somebody years ago that had a combo machine and swore by it.

Gone from a separate washer/dryer to a combo one. Washing is fine but drying isn't always great. Its a brand new zanussi btw.

At the minute "her indoors" puts everything in the dryer regardless of weather etc etc.

Even in the winter with the central heating on, an all in one jobbie which isnt as good at drying may encourage her to use a clothes horse or even peg it outside
