Hi Guys!

Sorry to ask another lame help me overclock this biatch thread but Im really in need of help my sys is as follows:

Alphacool Ready2go 240 Mesh tower (Active watercooling on cpu and graphics)
Core2DUo E6600 @ 3.4 (380 x9) FSB 1520
2Gig Geil PC6400 @ auto bios latencies
Radeon x1900xt
Gigabyte DS3 (Latest BIOS)

My real questions is I swear I can get more outta this setup can anyone with similiar/same specs confirm? Im a little surprised at how little this system has overclocked considering the hype....
Many thanks guys!
Tom

more than a 40% OC... I would hardly call that so little... a lot of CPUs you'd be lucky to get a 25% OC...

Realistically 3.4 to 3.6 depending on the CPU is about the average for the E6600 on air with a decent cooler and water isn't going to extend it much, and once your FSB is gettig over 370 your starting to run into complications with the motherboards, RAM, etc.

Your gonna have to start micro managing the RAM timings for a start...

What temps and voltages for that CPU?
If temps are good and voltages are below say 1.55 at the moment, I'd push for 400 FSB, set the ram running 1:1 ratio and set the timings manually.
That'll give you 3.6ghz on CPU and better ram timings.

Hi guys thanks for the info I will recipricate :D

(375x9)
CPU Vcore = 1.43750v
FSB +0.1v
MCH +0.1v
DDR2 Voltage +0.3v
PCI Express 100mhz (locked)
System memory multiplier 2
Mem Frequency = 750

RAM Timings are on auto. My question here would be should I decrease ram timings as Im told they have a negligible affect on Conroe performance and then up the fsb? Anyone know a program for finding out your mem voltage? Many thanks for the answers guys :D :D :D :D
