help overclocking please.

Hi recently upgraded to a dual core system. I cant seem to get the chip past 3.3ghz.

Heres the spec;

Intel Bad axe 2 motherboard
E6700
4gig ram
520 corsair HX psu
8800gts oc
250gig hdd
tuniq tower

At the moment im at 330 @ 10x multi temps are 30idle 45load everything set to stock volts. orthos stable (24h)

Thing is as soon as i up the fsb it fails orthos instantly, ive tryed uping the cpu voltage and the mainboards voltage does the same..

Im happy with 3.3 but if i can do 3.3 on stock it should have some more it in.

surely 330fsb isnt this boards max..

Any advice would be grateful

You may need to up the FSB terminal voltage..

What frequency is your RAM rated at?

800mhz but its running at 533

how do you work that out? If your FSB is at 330 then your memory will run at 660 with a 1:1 ratio?

what did you set the Vcore to?

Hi mate I'm new to all this.

Ive taken a screen shot if this helps.

Ive also found in BIOS its saying slot(A) 5-5-5-15 (667)mhz
slot(B) 5-5-5-15 (800)mhz
Im not to sure how to change them so they run the same speed, there the same ram sticks.

The bad axe 2 doesnt have many overclocking features :confused:
