help pc keep shutting down

hello there does anyone no why my pc keeps shutting down im running graphics and motherboard on default settings my cpu temp after windows loads is 40c and my mb temp 34c my cpu is pheonm 9950 2.6 afew weeks ago i was running it fine at 2.8 but last few days just keep switching on sometimes during browsing web. everything is on defaults and still turns off any ideas
 
my board is asrock a770d psu ezcool 650w cpu pheonm x 4 2.6gz but been running it at 2.8gz without a problem untill last few days it just goes off after 10mins or so i tried prime 65 and went off again after 1 min... my memory is 4 x xms2 corsair xtreme ddr2 graphics card ati hd4870.. iv just check wires and took memory out put just 2 gig in and turned pc back on had couple games of cod5 then ran prime 65 and its no problem could it be memory

Have a go at manually set the ram timmings and voltage in the bios, and if you have all 4 ram slots occupied up the northbridge voltage by 0.1v/0.2v to cope and see how you get on mate.

EDIT - also having all the ram slots used will affect your cpu overclock, pop the cpu back to stock settings and do as described above and see how you get on :)

ok m8 will try it my temps on motherboard and cpu are fine im using artic cooler pro ... i was using 4 gig kingston 6400 ddr2 then changed it to the corsair extreme xms2 x 4 sticks been worked fine then over few days went unstable going off rebooting.. iv took 2 sticks out and seems to ok for now plays games and i ran prime 65 test for 15 mins with no problem when i had the 4 sticks in went of after a min... i will do wot you said then check the ram singley incase one is broke

No problem, if that still fails mate, download and burn to disk THIS and run it with each ram stick individually and see what it comes up with :)
