Help!! Phanteks AMP power supply

I have just purchased a Phanteks AMP PSU unit. When switching it on, nothing happens, no light inside, no fan on, nothing. This is all without any load connected. Will it burst into life when I connect something to it or is it a dud?

Have you connected it to the motherboard?

You could try the paperclip trick but it sounds like your slightly out of your depth so recommend you view this on youtube and proceed with caution only taking on what you are comfortable with!

No ATX PSU powers on (except for 5V standby) without connected motherboard telling it to power up by pulling PS_ON pin of 24 pin ATX connector to logical low by connecting it to ground.
