Help , phone wont delete from Find My ?

Without more information, it's difficult to be able to help.

Did you buy a second hand phone? If so, sounds like it's still iCloud locked.

Yes purchased from Backmarket in April last year , really dint think that's the case as how would I of been able to set it up ans show it it in I cloud ?
 
You haven't given a lot of info really, what you've done is akin to walking into a police station saying someone has burgled your house, but you give them no further details and walk out.

Are you Stephen, or is that someone else?

It is possible that the phone was unlocked when sold, set up as yours, and somehow you've been phished and someone else has removed it from your devices and added it as their own.

Err ok I'm a little lost as to how I've not supplied you relevant info ? I've screen shotted my I cloud ( yes im Stephen ) account Find My page . It clearly shows its going g to be unlocked within 30 days . Why is the question?

I have purchase receipts and phone with matching EMEI number in hand, like I'm going to show everyone that on here !
 
Did you erase the phone via find my? You failed to mention you are Stephen, the way you worded it was as if the owner could see it. You haven't explained whatsoever what you have (or haven't) done.

Phone was reset to factory reset and then I logged into I cloud to deleted from account - sorry i dont mean to be rude but i thought it might be obvious what i was trying to achieve here.

Yes im Stephen , Steve or most pople call me Bob ( long story ) .

I assumed the above was correct but as you can see it cleary is but I cannot remove for 30 days - can you not see where it says that ?

"Will be removed on the 9th of March ?"

So there is zero indiscretion here i have proof pf purchase i am athe legal owner and if i dont px the phone in the next 7 days my £200 enhanced trade in offer goes down the kazee.

To confirm, you are Stephen. This is your iPhone 13 and you removed the phone from your iCloud to reset the device so you can trade it, but it's saying it won't be removed till after 30 days?

I've never had a phone show in Find My after erasing it.

Neither have I after an “Erase All Content and Settings” cycle and I did this on multiple iPhones every week for nearly a decade.
 
So a quick update , problem solved sort of !

Got through to Apple support and they said to log the phone onto WiFi (remember it was in reset mode at this point t fkr a new user ) , restarted and bingo lock message disappeared off the screen . I cloud find my still, says the 9th of March though .

When I asked the agent he became very vague with his answer, happens for some dosnt happen to others .
