Help please.... 486 build I need someone who knows what they are doing

i don't think i've ever seen a 486 run win95 - maybe try 3.11?
Most 486's had 4mb ram (i went overkill and had 8 at the time!)

When I worked for a computer recycling charity "Computer Aid International" back in 2001 we would install MS-DOS 6.22 with Windows 95 on 486 computers and they always ran fine. I had a few 486 computers back then and they ran no problems at all on Windows 95. Some of the old 486 processors will say on them Designed For Windows 95. There was a requirement for computers there to have a minimum of 16MB Ram.
