Hi when I say I bought this it came with free with my laptop I bought but the drive is from overclockers
Ok my hard drive is a ethernet hard drive but apprently is uses USB 2 as well. drive can be seen here.

I have just attached this drive to my PC via USB and thought it would just be a case of plug and play but its not.
when I open "my computer" I can see the drive but it doesnt show any info ie hard drive size etc just says FAT.
When I double click on the drive it has a programe in there which when I open is asking me for my username and password. I have tried just typing in thinking it would be at default username = admin password = password but it doesnt do anything.
Cant I just use this drive as a standard USB hard drive or does it need to be plugged in to a ethernet port ??
i really havent got a clue what this drive is used for and the manual that came with it is no help att all. I have even tried formatting it but it wont let me as it says disk is write protected !. Its showing the total drive at only 1.99mb as well instead of 300GB and there is nothing stored on the drive as well
any ideas ???
