hi can anyone match this spec hw91 made for me? I want a future proof extreme gaming rig that will play all the latest games on the highest settings also want to play flight sim games like flight sim x etc, also will be doing some home recordings guitars and mics using sony acid pro DAW software, I am open to AMD suggestions as I beleive they are more futureproof and Ive heard ATI gpus are better than nvidia, but also heard intel is better for recording, I am really not swayed either way so any suggestions are apreciated, I will try to explore overclocking but will more than likely use the preset overclocking on the motherboard software and want sli or crossfire for the future, oh and also need windows 7, can up my price to £1200 at a push

future proof isn't Intel, its AMD.

but just for you.

hi mate thanks for the quick reply, I thought u couldnt use ATI cards crossfire with intel chipsets? also mate why have you put 2 hard drives? also will games in the future be more dependant on how many cores u got?

You can use Crossfire on Intel chipset :) The P55 & X58 range can do SLI & Crossfire.

The SSD will be for Windows and the Seagate would be used for storage ect.

why what benefits does it have using a seperate drive for windows?

just had a quick scan around DAW forums and theyre all swearin by the i7's, think your first one will be the choice for me, thanks mate.

High end PC gaming is expensive. ;) You have to keep in mind you're paying a fair bit extra than you really need to run games with decent settings atm, but it should still be quite fast 2-3 years from now.

yea i see what you mean There probably wont even be any games coming out soon or until the next gen playstation 4's and xbox's that will challenge these gpus coz the money is in the consoles.
