Help please new build issues :( Shutting down windows fans still spinning won't fully power off ?

Only other thing you could try is install windows on something other than the nvme and see if it behaves the same way.
 
the only other thing i can think of, if you've already done a bios reset, is if windows enters a hybrid sleep mode rather than a full shutdown...

true, tbh, sounds like a bios setting that's gone awry...or that windows hasn't shut down properly and it's in one of those limbo states...
(or the board is borked - but i think this is a less likely scenario)

Will try it on a ssd drive tomorrow and see then

But is there a way to stop it though ? Never seen this issue before .


Will go back to OC tomorrow with it all if it’s doing it and see what they say .

Thank you for everyone’s help this evening going to try and get some rest for a bit but keep see my mind will be going on over this lol
 
Morning ,


Tried swapping the M2 drive over to another port still the same effect when shutting down , Now starting to install windows again on a 120gig SSD
 
SSD drive is doing the same thing when i power off couple of motherboard lights on and fans still spinning !

Think it's a board issue then ?

Yeah I tried that out yesterday put it to f5c

I’ve just removed the battery and started again just in case I’d messed something bios is back to f4 now which it was shipped with .

Not sure if forum rep has come across issue @GIGA-Man ? also you on the lates build of Windows 10 , 1805/09?

mine didnt shut off until I had updated to windows anniversary build which i think is something like build 1503

Just got back from ocUK shop where Danny helped me out no end with the issue, Motherboard was no good so i stripped out the pc there and rebuilt it with a new board in and it works fine now as tested it in the shop.


Thank you to everyone for there help and replies over the past 12 hours .
