Help please!!

i did a scan with avg and it picked up something - C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

but it says no threats found...

can anyone tell me why it is showing me that but at the bottom it says "0 threats found"

My guess would be maybe your hosts file has been edited.
Generally, it should just contain the following..

127.0.0.1 localhost

it is not allowing me to run it as it is saying i do nott have permission to save in this location..also would it matter if i renamed it as it will not allow me to overwrite the original

edit - oh yea i am running vista home premium

actually its havin trouble readin the hosts file
