I have no monitor to test system iv turned it on connected to speakers and keyboard but I'm getting no beeps all fans are runnin including cpu fan, ihow can I tell if its posting? Thx

Unplug psu, & then remove the round battery in mobo for 5 mins or so. Then put it back in, done.

Can you connect it to a tv?

Has your computer got a internal speaker, either in the case or on the motherboard, as i don't think you will get any beeps from external speakers.

I'm in bio so everythings workin now gonna load up win 7 got a hp monitor 22 inch for 70 quid although I have no powqer on light on case for some reason

have you got all the plugs fitted for the small pins on the MB ( where the intrnal speakers go too for the beeps)?

in the bios means your ok. you have to adujst the pwr led cable if your bothered about the light

The power on light for the case (and the hard drive light), are both LED's so if you've got them connected up the "wrong way" they won't work, all you need to do assuming you've got them into the right connectors on the motherboard is to take it out, turn the connector through 180 and plug it back it

IE if at the moment the connector for the power light has the red wire on the left side, turn it round so the red wire is on the right

(the power and hard drive/hdd lights are about the only connections on the modern motherboard where you need to have them plugged in the right way round for them to work, but will let you very easily plug them in the wrong way round).

As has been said if you know the motherboard name/model the manufacturers almost always have the manuals available for download, quite often they also have a quick start guide that is just a couple of pages with things like what connection goes where and the right way to connect them.
