help please

Hi im adding a new psu. ive taken the old psu out and added the new one. ive replaced all the cables except one which i cant find a cable for on my new power supply. its a 3 pin connector thats on the motherboard it says pwr fan. Can i use a 4 pin connector or do i need to just leave it? thanks

The PWR connector is to connect a fan to, Not power from your PSU !!!

Fan connectors on the motherboard usually supply managed power to a fan not from a PSU. What motherboard is it? Have you checked what the manual says?

Cheers i just looked at the other fan and thats connected to a similar socked. It was a prebuild from mesh so i guess they did that bit wrong. cheers
