Pc in sig restarted itself. I log back in and display driver crashes and pc restarts.

I took out the gfx card, gave it and the pc a clean, reset my motherboard and reinstalled Windows.

I installed the display drivers, restarted, logged in and then the same thing again; display driver crash, restarts.

Have reinstalled Windows about 5 times now, each time I have tried a different display driver version. Once I install the display drivers I eventually get this error.

I'm not sure what the problem is. Whether it's the gfx card or the motherboard. Both or neither. So I'm asking on here for help please.

Would be much appreciated.

Should note that all temps seem fine. Especially now since it's running at stock (2.8).

What is your PSU?

Have you disabled windows reboot? This would give you a BSOD and a mini dump if it crashed. You could then analyse it to see what caused it.

without the error message or a log file, it's hard to say tbh

reset motherboard back to default, can you try onboard display and take out your card? or try another one, even if it's older etc, just to see if that's the problem etc

does it work fine with no video drivers installed in windows, with all other updates installed?

make sure all motherboard drivers are installed first, latest bios used?

All the crashes were the result of this driver (nvlddmkm .sys).

I have now put back in my old gtx260 and so far it's working fine and on the latest drivers too.

Going to send an email to KFA2 to see if they will let me RMA it.

This 570 was a replacement for a faulty 560, which was a replacement for another faulty 560.

So either KFA2 make bad cards or I'm just really unlucky.
