Help Please

So I just bought a new pair of Asus Vulcan ANC Noise Cancelling ROG Gaming Headset and I cant get them to recognise on my computer. ive got them in the right ports but just cant seem to get it working. I also installed a new gpu amd r9 280. so im not sure if that's affecting it. any help would be great thanks

check that you have the correct playback device selected, installing the new graphics card could have changed the default due to the built in sound (so it works with HDMI) on the AMD card.
