so, i bought this OCZ 700w psu & 6870, fired it all up yesterday after some minor tiffs it was working great & I played games on it for a few hours.

Was on it this morning until i had to pop out for an hour, came back and the electric to the entire house was off (5 hours ago), had to flip the trip switch and everything came on except the PC. Any ideas?

I hope it's not a faulty PSU and i hope to god nothing inside is dmg'd as a result

i thought it might be the fuse in the plug from the PSU, but it's working fine, tested it in something else

does the psu have a rocker switch on the back?

try turning it off, leaving it for a bit, then test it again.

okie, trying at the moment. i know sometimes they have safety things in place etc like my old psu if pc died it wouldnt come on for like 30 minutes after, hoping that's all it is, how long shud i leave it for

PSU includes comprehensive protection functions; Over Voltage
Protection, Under Voltage Protection, Over Power Protection,
Short Circuit Protection, Over Temperature Protection.
Note: If the PSU goes into shut down status, the PSU will return to
normal operation only after the fault has been removed and the
power switch has been cycled off/on for a minimum of 1 second;
or you may re-plug in the AC power from the PSU.

tried that already, still nothing :x i turned the pc off to leave the house and when i came back and tried to turn it on again nothing, shutting it down before i left was just a normal shutdown and everything seemed fine, i have no idea -.-

i tried a complete reset of the PSU, used the bare minimum connections, nothing still. put in my 430w coolermaster and it booted nicely.
shame my 430w has no 2 6 pin PCI-e and enough molex for all the fans on my 902

i guess it's an RMA?

must have been a big surge to blow the whole fuse board.

was so impressed with delivery, ordered on tue and it came by wednesday morning to NI, wasen't expecting it until Friday
