Hello there, im looking to make a new Gaming computer and i need some suggestions for parts, ive got some idea for some parts already but i need people to help me fill in the gaps, :)

i mean i have no experience in building comps, so im not exactly clued up about what works with what so feel free to point me in the right direction before i end up buying parts that dont even work together ;) (lets not worry about the price of some these parts right now :p )

here are my current idea's;

Case: Coolermaster HAF X
Mobo: ASUS Maximus IV Extreme / Extreme-Z
CPU: Intel i5 2500k
GPU: Nvidia Geforce GTX 570 (Maybe x2)
PSU: Coolermaster GX 750W
RAM:___________________
CPU Cooler:__________________
Sound Card:___________________
HHD:_________________________ (want someting like 2TB, aint fussed about super fast SSD's)

Keyboard: Logitech G19
Mouse: Logitech G9x
Headset: Logitech G930
Webcam: Creative Live 1080p HD Webcam
Speakers:_______________

My Questions are;

What else do i need?

How can dual SLI benefit me? is for dual screens or does it enhance single
displays?

Also note that i am going for a red theme, so anything like CPU coolers with red LEDS or summat like that would be awesome.

Any help at all would be excelenté :p

Sell the PSU you get with the case and get something like this http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-006-LA&groupid=701&catid=123&subcat=2057
Much higigher quality :)

RAM: Cheapest ddr3 1600 mhz on here will do, 4gb or 8gb (at your budget id go 8gb) http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-094-KS&groupid=701&catid=8&subcat=1517.

CPU cooler: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HS-001-GD&groupid=701&catid=57&subcat=1395 when its back in stock and just buy a red led fan to go on it :)

The best air cooler is the silver arrow but its expensive.

dual graphics cards will give you (almost) double the framerate of a single graphics card.

dual graphics cards for Nvidia also allow for three screens to be used (with a single card, two is the max), along with 3D surround (3 screens in 3D). i believe that can be done by ATI with a single card.

an SSD makes a great drive for the operating system and your favourite apps and games as it will drastically reduce loading and boot up times

*edit*
i assume you have a monitor already.
you have also forgotten the DVD drive

:D

Yeah i was going to get new PSU, as you probly saw you get that one for free with the HAF X from this site so i thoguht may as well :P

also yeah i was looking at the cooling rates and the silver arrows is looking like the king :) thanks for pushing me in the right direction :)

right ok, thanks for setting me straight there, im mean im not a fan of dual screened rigs but a massive fan of better fps :P

you are correct sir i already have a monitor ;)

as for the ssd, i suppose i could just get a small sized one to smack the OS on?

sweet

Wow man, thanks for doing that lol, im not going to get all of that stuff but there some stuff there that looks nice and will work with what i want to get.
:)

also to those guys who told me about the other mobo's, are there any differences about these motherboards to the one i want? the thing is i realy want a red one because im tring to get a red theme. i know that sound stupid that id pay more for a colour but oh well
