Ebay is good for buyer, not good for seller.
FB is good localy for cash, but no securitys posting.

Saying that i gambled 55£ on FB and got me a noctua cpu cooler. The guy did posted. But it was a gamble on my part as i had to make a bank transfer. Im willing to gamble 50£ for a reasonable deal but thats absolute limit.

Got burned on ebay lost 200£ and item 4 weeks ago. oh well, sometimes things goes sideways.

This makes me wonder whats going to start happening with Ebay now who are ditching paypal for money paid directly into the bank.

Lot worse for sellers I'm subscribed to a few of the threads on their community and there are loads of people complaining about the new system its so erratic in the way it pays out and can take anything from 4 to 12 or more days to get payment its like going back to depositing cheques.
If your auction ends on a weekend it really screws up the payment process first time it happened my auction ended on a weekend it took 10 days for payment. So read a few people say make sure your auction ends on a Monday or Tuesday as you should get payment by Friday. Also noticed they
have done away with the £1 selling fees they are now doing 50% off the fee weekends too. The new 12.5% fee hits you bad on anything over say £200.

And yea, 12.5% fee seems excessive, not going to look forward to selling stuff in the future.

Hey JGStonedRaider I see that you was offered a RTX 3060 from a Facebook MarketPlace seller for £150?
I had the same on there too this month.
May i ask Was it an Asus model ? Because this sounds like the same person who scammed me for my £150 then stopped replying on Facebook Market place.
Could you telll me the sellers/Scammers name too??
