okay im getting a rampage 4 what would be the best ram too get i have about £150 to spend also would my tri channel mem work in the rampage 4 as this says quad ?

On QVL list and very easy to set up. Overclock well too.

a lot on here would say Samsung green which are also great sticks of ram but do require abit of tuning to get the best from them.

okay i did have a look at them but like red ram dose it look nice in the r4e ?

Triple channel would work but the best performance would be with quad channel.

Samsung Green 16GB (4x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C11 1600MHz 30nm Dual/Quad Channel Kit

It should overclock to the same speed as the G.Skill RipJawsZ if you want to do that.

What CPU cooler are you using?

As some ram modules with large heatsinks can interfere with the CPU cooler.

i dont have the r4e yet im getting it in 2 weeks as for a heatsink i havent got that far yet lol

It doesn't fit S2011 motherboards.

And I'd hope that after spending £300 on a motherboard, £230-£780 on a processor, £150 on RAM, plus everything else you'll be buying, that you'd invest more than £20 in a CPU cooler.

yes i will be getting a h100 i think but im not that well paid that i can get it all in one go lol

In quad channel I would not go for Samsung Green with that board. Yes it works but it requires tuning. If your good at tuning yeah cool go for it.

Plug and play go GSkill. I think it looks ok. But you could go for the Red Kit but they are 1600mhz.
