Hi,

Got everything delivered the other day and yesterday sat down to do the install.

Everything seemed to go well no real issues. However when I powered on I dont get any video.

Abit AW9D-MAX mobo
Conroe E6600
Geil DDR2 PC6400
Radeon X1950-XTX

Mobo seems to power on ok and there is power going to gfx card

The post code display shows C1 which in the manual is
Detect Memory
- Auto detection of DRAM size, type and ECC
- Auto detection of L2 cache (socket 7 or below)

I tried clearing the CMOS going to start unplugging the additional devices.

Can anyone take a guess at what might be wrong? (processor/gfx card/memory)? and point me in the right direction for trying to isolate the problem as I have no spare kit to use to help diagnose the issue.

Cheers all

Yeah,

Im using the Enermax Galaxy 850W

24 Pin is conectted (ATXPWR)
8 pin is connected (ATX12V1)
PCI-E Master power cable is connected to the Radeon
Additional PCI molex is connected (ATX4P1)

The only thing I'm not 100% on is that there are 2 cables for the ATX12V1 connector

1 is a solid 8 Pin the other is 2x 4 pin to be inserted as the 8 pin with an additional cable for the fan controller.

I have tried both but has made no difference, am using the 2x 4 pin atm.

have also tried reseating the memory.

trying boot with 1 stick of RAM...

for some reason i can remember some dude here saying that your mobo is very picky when it comes to RAM...

check in mobo section if that RAM is OK to be used with that Mobo...

however still try booting with 1 stick of RAM, of course clear CMOS before doing this and make sure the 1 stick of RAM is in the correct slot..

thanks

edit: found this http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=17641352

best bet is going to mobo section asking around also RAM section....

Tried that same problem.

AW9-D MAX Memory Support

It's not showing under the supported page but is that just because they havent ttested it?

If there was a problem with the mobo or the processor would it post at all?
