HELP q flash won't work?

Hey folks so got my new board set-up for my new CPU and tried the q flash with the usb drive in but the led doesn't flash so I don't think it's working shall I try a different bios trying F11D atm?
 
What motherboard?

Did you make sure you put it in the correct USB port, the drive was formatted correctly and the bios named appropriately?
 
are you sure you renamed the actual file extension. it will be something like "B550AOPR.11d" for my b550 board.

Now if you dont have show file extensions switched on and you rename it it wont actually change it to BIN. it will rename it to something like B550AOPR.BIN.11d and that wont work. so make suer you have "show file extensions" in windows folder options.

Also make sure its the file you have renamed, not in a folder. some ppl renamed a folder and put the file in it. thats not correct.
 
Yep not in a folder and renamed it and it's stayed renamed.

I've uninstalled everything and pressed the q flash button still no led but gonna leave it 30 mins then see if I install my 5800X it posts could just be the LED is not working
