Help, R9 290X Boot image

Do you think that's down to my CPU my score is more comparable with the laptops lol.

What I would like to ask while you guys are here is how do you rate the twinfrozr cooler vs the accelero xtreme iii cooler?

I am considering putting my xtreme iii on instead.
 
One things those people in that Firestrike thread might be doing in the Catalyst driver is setting stuff such as details settings to performance rather than quality to get those last few points.
 
This happens on my 290 with my motherboard (Gigabye Z68X-UD3P). Annoying but removing the boot logo means it doesn't matter anyway, and doesn't affect anything at all. It's a known issue, I googled it previously.
