Sup,

Long story short, I have broken my left arm in a skiing accident last week. Only right hand for typing (slowly) and mouse.

Usually big into FPS games but that's not going to happen for 6 weeks :(

Any suggestions of games I can buy/play to pass the time given my injury?

Thanks!

get the command and conquer first decade pack

I was thinking of reliving the old C&C days.

Also I used to like the Monkey Island games back in the day but my quench for action and FPS has kinda urinated on that for me a bit.

There has got to be more games out there for me, surely?

I picked up World in Conflict a few weeks ago (am also an FPS fan) and I think you could drive that with a mouse.

Bit of a shameless bump.

I have dragged out my old copy of red alert to play temporarily.

I wasnt impressed with dragon age so da:2 will be similar. I liked the old civ games but civ5 didn't hold my attention for long.

Any other thoughts?

You could play any of the Total War games with just a mouse i would have thought. Good time killers :)

C&C is good havent played company of heroes. Looks similar but more intricate with squads and so on. Might treat myself to it.

Which C&C to buy if I go down that route?

you can get the first decade box for about a tenner.
has all c+c's, Red Alert 1 +2 with expansions and Generals
and the second disc has all of the tibrium games(which i did't like tbh.)

Company of heroes is good. much more complex than C+C, and more tactical. And if you play online, i would say that it has a fairly steep learning curve.
it has a very good single player campaign as well.

Sounds like a long journey. I'm torn now between a few, shogun total war too!

I'm really going to have to think hard, 6 weeks is a long time though!!

It gets better :) Breaking limbs sucks, sorry. Think losing the use of an arm would have done my head in, then again not being able to walk was also no fun.
