Hi, my PC is currently running at 42 - 48'c depending on my room temperature. How could I reduce the room temperature? I have the radiators off, and usually have the windows open.

And what's your views about buying the Akasa Eclipse 62 Thermally Advanced Side Panel? Do you think that would help to reduce my PC temps?

Thanks in advance.

Same here ;)

I'm either going to do some kind of case mod to the top of the case, so hot air can rise out of it, or fit a fan in the top of the case which will blow hot air downwards in an attempt to get it sucked out by other fan.

A 120mm on the roof is one of the more popular Akasa Eclipse mods.

what CPU cooling are you using anyway? That is a little toasty, and might mean you have a crap IHS on your CPU, which isn't uncommon with the C2Ds.

Also, what 120mms do you have on your case, the Akasa is pretty good with cooling without the pannel!

Move to Scotland and open a window, have a triple rad sitting on the windowsill and hey presto. A pc that idles at 18 degrees and 32 degrees after 8 hours of Orthos. :D

Bloody freezing up here.

Well I've just opend the windows, now my room is cold, but I'm still idling at 40'c. Could it be because of the 1.375v I need to keep my PC stable at this overclock?
