I'm looking to replace two old Asus monitors (about 7-10 years old). There are so many options now on the market, I don't know what is the best solution.
I've been looking at IPS screens for a more productivity focus, but with some gaming in there too (about 80/20 split). Productivity wise its a lot of spreadsheets and documents while gaming is focused more on single player action/adventure and RTS games, so I don't think I need OLED or the fastest refresh rate for competitive gaming.
The considerations so far are:
I'm hoping to make a decision that will last for another 5+ years.
Does anyone have recommendations on what would be the best way to go?

The considerations so far are:
- an 49" super ultrawide, for a like-for-like but modern replacement of the dual 27". With PBP, I could continue to have screen split for gaming / media consumption side-by-side while having a huge unbroken screen for work.
- moving to dual 32" 4k screens, for a physical and resolution upgrade, with the increase on clarity for work. My concern is if that will work well with the GPU having to push more pixels for my PC.
- a single 40" 5k2k screen which I feel finds a balance being less pixels than dual 4k but still a physical upgrade.
I'm hoping to make a decision that will last for another 5+ years.
