Help required with Crystal Disk report please

Thanks for this and the link which is very helpful. All backed up now.
Your welcome.

All backed so now you can format the drive as long as windows is not installed on it otherwise you will have to reinstall windows .

Then test again see if errors are the same if so its starting to fail.

Let me know how you get .

I'd be cautious about trusting the disk even if you can get the sectors remapped. If you can afford it, it could be an ideal time to replace it with an SSD which would make your laptop feel a lot snappier.
Your Crystaldisk image also shows a D: drive - if this is another partition on the same physical drive then don't forget to back this up too. If it is a second physical drive then it would be worth temporarily disconnecting it while reinstalling windows.

Word of advice from me, so in this case leveraging my creds as an enterprise storage specialist, once a disk starts to throw out SMART errors you can't trust it, it 'might' run like that for years but it's not worth the risk, it's the point where I consider them paperweights, in my line of work we replace them as soon as that happens. Crystal Disk is reading that data from the SMART sensors on the disk, (Self-Monitoring, Analysis and Reporting Technology) and if it says anything but Good it's essentially a paperweight in waiting. Actually I am a little surprised the BIOS on your laptop isn't reporting something like SMART thresholds being exceeded when you first boot it up, so stopping you before Windows starts after POST to warn you.
