Oh no, that's incredibly sad news, RIP Xez.

E: I just read his most recent comments in the distributed computing sub forum posted not much more than a week ago, what strength the man must have had in the face of this horror, truly inspiring.

Absolutely brutal to read quotes from Xez further up the page and then be hit with that.

RIP I can only hope it was as painless and swift as you'd wished.
 
he did mention he was in an end of life home a week or 2 back. but I don't think anybody over there was expecting this to happen so soon. the fact he left his tablet on the distributed computing page open and loggin made me think he was expecting this or new he was going to go.
 
I didn't know the guys who passed away but I found myself thinking about this thread tonight. RIP.
 
We always think of those we’ve lost at this time of year. I was even thinking about my beloved grandad tonight and it’s been 18 years since I lost him :(
