HELP sata1 not sata2

hi guys i've read the page about sata2 and downloaded the feature tool to enable my hit drive , but it doesnt boot from cd into the setup and wibdows loads even when i set the cd drive to first boot pri

Sounds like a problem with the CD. What steps did you take to create it?

just copied the files though windows onto a cd-r

That'll be your problem then. You need to download the .ISO image and then use something like Nero to burn a CD directly from the ISO, that way all the boot files get set up properly.

Yeah, a CD with the file featuretool.iso burned on it will not work.

You need an image burning tool like Nero, Alcohol, Roxio, Isobuster perhaps to burn the .iso to the disk.

A .iso file is like a package of files which are 'unbundled' onto the media when using the right program.
