hi

i m not sure where this should go, but i bought a foxconn 6150 K8MA , from the site i brought it from it said it support sata raid 0 and 1, however wen it got through i found that my "manual" is onli a piece of A2 size poster like thing with a diagrame of themobo, and doesnt mention anything about raid.

how do i check if the mobo support raid, and if it does how do i "set up" raid 0?

You will need to play with some settings. It isnt very hard to do - it will just be unfamiliar to you.

Generally, you will nee to enable RAID on the mobo connectors that you attach the drives to, and then through whatever interface the mobo provides you will need to place the drives into an array, and choose whether its a RAID0 (speed) or RAID1 (safety).

You may need to enable RAID in BIOS, then just after BIOS there is another configuration section you can enter (by pressing a key during POST - sometimes F11 - it will probably tell you on screen). In this second config section, you set up your RAID array by adding the drives you want to use, and selecting the RAID type - 0 or 1.
