Help setting up Samsung sm951

hello I have just got a few questions that I need answering.
ok so I have just got my Samsung sm951 and I am wanting to use it for my o/s and apps I have a
msi x99s gaming 9 ack motherboard.
in the bios there is two settings for the m.2
one is m.2 source link which I am going to leave on auto
the other is m.2 pch strap which has two options one is pch sata the other is pch pcie.
so on this one I take it I set it to the pcie option is this correct.
also can I use Samsung migration software or is a clean install of windows a better option.
last part I have all my games on different hdd and ssd and o/s on its own ssd with apps do I have
to uninstall all games and reinstall them does it make a difference

understanding how each game saves game states, backing up , uninstall, install, (restore game state if necessary) will always be the better option.
 
Just mirror across with Samsung migration tool and then remove your old OS drive. Shouldn't have to change anything with your game installs.
