Hey guys, had my build for awhile now but I've recently got an SSD that I want to make use of as a caching device using Intel Rapid Storage Technology.

I'm using a Z68 board and I've set sata mode to Raid and done a clean install of Windows. First thing, I can't find the download for the software I need :S I've looked at some guides and haven't got anywhere, what I have tried hasn't worked.

Thanks.

You need Intel RST: http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?ProductID=2101&DwnldID=21852&lang=eng&iid=dc_rss

Enusre you have your SSD and HDD connected, then install that. Once you've done that, open up the software, and there should be an accelerate tab, click that.Enable acceleration and pick your SSD and HDD, enhanced mode will allow the SSD to last long but maximized mode will give the faster speeds. After you've done that, reboot. You may need to go back into BIOS to select your HDD as the boot drive again but once that's done, your HDD should be all accelerated by the SSD. You can use the Intel RST program to check once again that the SSD is being used as cache.
