Help settle an argument about Portal.

Some lads are currently having an argument in the office as to whether or not Portal is different on the Xbox and PC. By different I mean are the levels different? It all stems from the fact that the people with xbox's have completed the game will the PC users are still having trouble and are stating it must have been made easier on the box.

Is it?

I don't know for sure, but I don't see how you could possibly pull of some of the quick reaction moves you need to do some of the levels on the PC version by using a controller.

I'm guessing some levels have been changed to make it easier with a controller, I could be totally wrong though.

I would agree, there were some where you had to be fairly accurate at aiming a portal to the point you were about to land on, would be very tricky with a joystick rather than a mouse.
 
I am fairly sure they are exactly the same. I have the 360 verstion and the vids I have seen on YouTube are the same for me. They might also have been recorded on the 360.

I can't see why there would be differences, I mean, the controler thing is not a big deal. You can get good with the controller as well!
 
Completed it with a controller just fine, even the advanced timed levels are pretty easy. Maybe I'm just pro :p
