HELP Slipstreaming programs into windows xp install

Couple of questions here as well:
a. am I right in assuming that the latest version of DirectX is included in SP2 and I don't need to slipstream that as well?
b. is it possible to create bootable DVDs rather than CDs so that I can fit all my commonly used apps on it as well as Windows?:D

I'm pretty sure that nLite has the option to chance the location of the Program Files directory, might have been in the unattended section. Then again it might also have been an option to rename the folder, not relocate. Worth a try though.

Hope this helps, null :)

yeah, just use nlite to make the iso, then imgburn to burn the iso, or in nero when you've selected burn image, change the type to DVD in the top left

That is excellent! I expected the answer to be no to be honest, as I'm not sure the BIOS supports DVD drives. But if it works I'm gonna have fun figuring out how much junk I can install at the same time with Windows!:D

Just install it using VM and see what happens. Then you can keep/get rid of whatever you want.

It's hard to say what will be there unless you know the method used to add them to the cd image (eg. OEM folder, custom installation, etc)
