Help someone with 3090fe block

My block as not yet come but I’m noticing they look a bit chunky because of the 12 pin power plug..

Can anyone was a block please confirm that one’s fitted dose it make the card a 2 pci slot card or is it a little finer?

The EK block is a single slot design, I used the cablemod cable which makes it a little neater.

That’s good. It just in the photos I can find a side on **** there all from the top down angle and it looks like a 2 slot and some look like more.

I only have 2 slots the the rad fans

I had a corsair block on a 3090FE. I seem to remember that the backplate was 2 slots the rest was one and a smidge. Even with the vertical 12 pin it would fit in a 2 slot space without issue.

I’ve ordered the alphacool. It will be hear tomorrow. The EK block looks to be 2 slots that’s why I was concerned

No probs, for reference I was hitting mid 50s core and high 70s ram with an average loop running at 40c water temp split between gaming and rendering. Did high 60s core and upto 102 ram on the stock cooler on air.

I’m going to be running a cpu and gpu loop with a 240mm and 280mm rad. I’m hoping my silent fans can keep me gaming silent.

Cpu is under volted and in eco mode and I will under volt the gpu too

EKWB FE block is ~ 1.5 slot. Alphacool is about the same maybe thicker.

Just need to make sure whatever block provides a new i/o bracket to replace the stock triple slot.

That’s grate as long as it less then 2 it’s all good.
Block comes with a 2 slot pci bracket

I’ve finally managed to find the data sheet. It’s a 1.5 slot cooler. So loads of room.
