Help sort my FPS build please

Just realised, Nivida 3D Certified monitors have been specc'd with a ATI/AMD card, does it still work?

TBO I will never use the 3D... Only chose that monitor because of the reviews and its 120Hz

Build updated... Thanks all.

Read first post, He wants the ability to add a second card in the future, and if he needs Wifi it will probably come out of the old PC :)

You want to calm down fella. :(

Yes i missed the part about xfire. ;)
But he specced a wifi board and there is no mention of having it in his old system. And i don`t like to assume. :p

Add another 2 Gentle Typhoons as the H100 will/can use 4 for Push/Pull config :)

Sorry if I seemed aggressive. I am at work so don't have much time to drop a line in sometimes.

Atleast replying on the forums makes it seem like im doing work as im typing a lot. Though most of the time it is due to actual work lol.

this build is way too corsair for me, im bailing lol

LOL. Not intentional I assure you.

Added the fans.... That's nearly 150 on just CPU fans/cooler vs Mai suggestion of £65. Not trying to save cash, however don't want to waste them either.

Shall i stick with the corsair cooler?

With the H100 cooler and those Scythe Fans you could get 4.5Ghz from that CPU fairly easy. I have the H80 and I can get 4.8Ghz from my AMD Cpu (a little warm though...). Using his cooler you could get 3.9/4.0Ghz with slightly higher temperatures. Plus overclocking is easy. Loads of guides on here and can get you to 4.5Ghz in 15mins, then a few hours of stress testing while you watch a movie on TV and your sorted.

Trust me, cooling is worth it, especially when it comes to noise/performance. You will get greater performance by far by overclocking.

I'd say that last spec you just done should be final :)

I know for 4 fans £60 is expensive, but they are worth it. I can post a vid later of my single corsair fans noise blowing through nothing compared to 2 Gentle Typhoons pushing through a Rad, you will be glad. Plus the Gentle Typhoons move more air and dont lose much performance when paired with a Rad!

Thanks all for you time and help.

Order has been placed, and I will start a build thread when it all arrives.

Fingers crossed it goes well having never ventured down this road before.(especially the OC part of it).

Cheers. :)

Will be keeping an eye out for it :)

What parts did you order? and don't rush when doing it. It's easy to put together, but trust me, read all the instructions, 90% of bent CPU pins are due to not reading instructions, as it seems straight forward... Also make sure you get your Ram in the right slots :)
