Hi I need some help I'm after a low end gaming pc for about £350 it will be used for wow and other games none too demanding I already have a DVD drive spare and a monitor and mouse and keyboard not too bothered about intel or amd CPU and as long as graphics can handle wow nicely not too fussed trying to keep the cost down and the build is for a friend who is movin to uni so any help would be great so anything between £300 - £350 would be great

your gonna have to look at some competitor sites and pickup any special deals. right now you could get a:

Casecom generic case
Casecom 400W PSU
MSI 870 c45
AMD Phenom X2 555 3.2 GHz which you can easily unlock to 4 core with the above mobo
Sapphire Radeon 5850
500GB HDD
4GB RAM 1333MHz
DVD RW

All this for around £330 including shipping, its a very very good deal much better than anyone from ocuk can spec but you'll just have to put it in google and you'll have to find the sites yourself as it is against the forum rules for me to post the links

What about this You're in : Home » Systems & Bundles » Overclocked Bundles » Value - Xenon » Xenon AMD Phenom II X4 840 3.20GHz Bundle - Quad Core

since your friend is moving to Uni i can guarantee he can get an operating system cheaper from his uni than he can from here.

something like this should suit you nicely

*edit*
oops, thought you said £450.

OcUK will be fine for this though

Quick question I bought vista 64 bit and the I upgraded to windows 7 can he use the old vista disk and code as I don't use it any more and it's going to waste

here we go. nice little gaming rig here.

do you think you could stretch your budget to £365?
(if not, replace the processor with the cheapest AMD athlon tri core, or the graphics card with the ATI 5830 and you should be in budget)

YOUR BASKET
1 x Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 5850 Extreme 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card **OcUK Exclusive** £124.99
1 x AMD Athlon II X4 Quad Core 640 3.00GHz (Socket AM3) - Retail £71.99
1 x Cooler Master Elite 430 Windowed Case - Black (with 500w Elite Power PSU) £64.99
1 x MSI GF615M-P33 GeForce 6150SE (Socket AM3) DDR3 Motherboard £32.99
1 x OCZ Platinum 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-10666C7 1333MHz Dual Channel Kit (OCZ3P1333LV4GK) £29.99

Total : £366.54 (includes shipping : £10.50).

this one comes with a decent PSU, unlike the casecom one, and a quad core version of the dual core processor thats in the casecom build. its probably a nicer case too :)

*edit*
if you buy today go for this RAM:
