help speccing a new base unit please

hi guys a friend wants me to spec him a new base unit, he has 500 pounds to spend and he will mainly be doing video editing, a quad core is a must.

he will also need a spare pciex1 slot for a blackmagic intensity pro.

any help would be great, he wants to order tonight

and if any of the video editing programs can use CUDA, then the Nvidia card will boost performance.
