Help using a water temperature sensor?

Ok so I have an open air case p5.

480 by 85mm thick rad with 8 static pressure fans.

All 8 fans are connected to my pwm cpu.

Cpu is overclocked i7, gpu is msi 1080, both are in the water loop.

So when I do renders or play certain games my cpu goes up to about 55 degrees. My gpu will stay down in the thirties so I know the water can't be getting that hot.

I set the pwm to my cpu as it's the only true pwm on my motherboard. And it was just the ease of having it automatic.

So after I have done that and the sound is driving me crazy, I'm thinking about adding a sensor in the loop.

Here's where I need the help, how do I connect the fans to the sensor? Also can I get a sensor or controller that will do it automatic, say if the water gets to a certain temp the fans will automatically increase?

Assuming youve got a few g1/4 slots available heres what I did

https://www.overclockers.co.uk/bitfenix-recon-internet-connected-fan-controller-black-ca-072-bx.html

a couple of these

and this

https://sourceforge.net/projects/phoebetria/

Pop the sensors where ever you want and attatch the sensors to the fan controller. Attach all the fans to the controller and the usb connecter to the motherboard. Fire up windows install the above software and setup automatic profiles based on the water temperature

Personally, I like to set the fans to the difference between the water temp and the ambient temp. That way, your fans aren't running faster in the summer than the winter. I use an aquaero 5 lt to control everything, other solutions are not doubt available. It takes a bit fo time to set up, but once done, its set and forget. The unit runs independent from the OS, so even after reinstalling windows, it still carries on doing its thing.

The way you have it set up now is fine. What you need to do, is go to your bios and change the fan curve for the CPU to a custom curve. If you need help setting up the custom curve, then let me know your motherboard model and I'll help out.
