Help vista cant setup drives larger than 137GB?

Im trying to resize my old maxtor 250 gig drive to 1 partition but this happens...

This is on my ASUS P5W DH motherboard, and vista ultimate btw. :confused:

This is strange? I took out the Maxtor and put in a new 320Gig WD AAKS drive and I can use it to its full capacity? formated is 298 GIG.. yet I couldnt resize the maxtor to 250 GIG.. eh. :confused:

I think that could be a case of the WD tools not liking Vista rather than there being an issue with your drive/setup.

that tool has nothing to do with vista

use vista to do that formatting, you can choose partition sizes etc on it..
