Help - Want to move back to android from iphone 4s

Nearly all of them and I still have most of them. :p

I'm not sure where I'll get it from at the moment.

It isn't problematic, he just thinks it looks ugly!

I just don't think it is nice looking, but that is just what I think, some people love it, all that matters is what you think of it and if you're happy with it :)

Reasons I don't like it, are:

- the colours, hate white devices :p and the PB changes from blue to purple to near enough black depending on the lighting......
- Don't like the hard button at all, especially on the PB as it is a different shade to the rest of the mobile (I think the front of the device would have looked so much better if the buttons were on screen like the GN or similar to the touch capacitive buttons on the S and X)
- the speaker, camera and flash on the back looks awful
- the blue trim on the PB isn't that nice, I think the silver trim on the white looks rather good though
- the brush effect on glossy plastic does not look good
- I think it looks a bit on the cheap side overall, didn't think this about the GS 2 though, I love the looks/design of it (despite being a rectangular slab :p), very sleek/modern professional look to it IMO

A nice case like the rock quicksand or nillkin will cover the back of the mobile though :p whilst feeling nicer to hold/touch (going by what others have said who own the cases for the GS 3)


Again though, that is just what I think, doesn't mean that everyone will think the same as me :)

When are you getting your s3 mate? Any chance of you putting a little review up?

Was it the one S that you have Nexus? Sorry I forget and all I can hear is the mrs whining in my ear currently so can't think for myself! Roll on working days instead of nights again next week - hooah ;)

Robbo selling his phones!?!?! :eek: That will be the day! :p

He collects them as a hobby, has glass presentation cupboards where they all sit with the wee name tags below and what date he got them on and takes them out every now and again to give them a quick polish....... :eek: :D :p
 
Guys help : friend just got given a s3 as an upgrade but hates its size. He's offered me to swap for my 4s with £30 his way : worth it? I think so but wanted some backup :)

My 4s is the 16gb one mate. I have it at home here to try it, I like it and if I hadn't put on some weight from giving up smoking I'm sure it'd fit quite fine in my pockets too!
 
I've just been reading the GS3 thread and am seeing comments about problems with the phone and that some have better cpu/ram combinations?

Now I don't know what to do!

Yeah, the American one has a different CPU and more RAM, but it's no good worrying about that.

You wouldn't notice the difference anyway and it's not necessarily better.
 
Final thing -

I use iMessage to send/receive multimedia messages between my sister, my best mate and the mrs (she's got ipod touch)......

What can I get that will replace this? I assume if I put whatsapp on my ye olde htc desire for her, then I can use that cross platform with my sister and mate who both have the 4s?
 
No point even worrying about that as only the Americans have the different version :p

Basically the USA version has the better processor (s4 snapdragon chip) for performance per core, heat and battery efficiency and more RAM (not really needed the additional 1GB of RAM though)

The international version has a much better GPU.
