Help! What are the nVidia driver startup registry entries?

Hi all,

Yesterday i installed new drivers for my graphics card and, as usual, i went ahead and deleted the nvidia registry entries which are not needed in HKLM-->Software-->Microsoft-->Windows-->Current Version-->Run. However, i think that i may have deleted a certain registry entry which stores my current clock frequency settings.

The problem is that it autodetects the clock frequency and sets it too high, giving me artifacts so i need the name of the registry entries and where they point to so that the driver will load the correct clock frequency.

All registry entries to do with nVidia will be great.

Thanks in advance :)

Sorry if i posted this in the wrong forum, i though it's more software related ;)

Did you overclock using coolbits? why not just uninstall the current drivers, use driver cleaner and re-install, this should put you back at stock speeds!

Yeh i was considering re-installing but replacing the registry keys would be easier :D

The problem is that when i install coolbits, it auto detects the frequencies and sets them too high, so i have to lower them and set it to load those frequencies on startup. I need the registry keys so that it will load the correct frequencies.

ok so what actually happens when you simply set the frequencies to those that you want and tell coolbits to load these at startup?

btw you could have installed new Gfx drivers in the space of 5 mins :D .......sorry couldn't help it ;)

Because i deleted the registry entry, the program or dll or whatever it is that controls the clock frequencies doesn't load so the clock frequencies are set to those that it autodetects.

I know i could have re-installed them quickly, but i was expecting to get an answer from here even faster ;) ...... and i'm feeling lazy :D
